We aim to be a Community
Centre, accountable to our members, offering accessible, quality services,
working to respond to a wide range of local needs.
AIMS

To
provide facilities and opportunities for local people of all ages,
abilities and cultures to be actively involved with improving their
quality of life; and to ensure that wherever possible resources are
targeted to the socially excluded.

To
create opportunities for training, education, work and play for the
very young, older people, disabled people, youths and adults.

To
emphasise active involvement. Children, young people and adults will
have the opportunity to choose activities in a relaxed, supportive
and well managed environment.

create an environment that stimulates users' personal development
and confidence.

be managed by the local people for themselves, thus having an invigorating
effect on our community.

Achieving
financial independence through general income, contracts and developmental
grants.

work to improve services and amenities for the wider community.
