We aim to be a Community Centre, accountable to our members, offering accessible, quality services, working to respond to a wide range of local needs.

AIMS

  • To provide facilities and opportunities for local people of all ages, abilities and cultures to be actively involved with improving their quality of life; and to ensure that wherever possible resources are targeted to the socially excluded.
  • To create opportunities for training, education, work and play for the very young, older people, disabled people, youths and adults.
  • To emphasise active involvement. Children, young people and adults will have the opportunity to choose activities in a relaxed, supportive and well managed environment.
  • To create an environment that stimulates users' personal development and confidence.
  • To be managed by the local people for themselves, thus having an invigorating effect on our community.
  • Achieving financial independence through general income, contracts and developmental grants.
  • To work to improve services and amenities for the wider community.
